You need an internet connection to sign in and keep your journal in sync across devices, but JotBantuek also works offline. Once you've opened the app online (or installed it), you can read and write your journal without a connection, and your entries sync automatically when you're back online.
Install JotBantuek like an app so it opens full-screen from your home screen and keeps working offline. We recommend using Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone/iPad. Android (Chrome) 1. Open https://jotbantuek.app in Chrome 2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner 3. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app" 4. Confirm, and the JotBantuek icon appears on your home screen iPhone / iPad (Safari) 1. Open https://jotbantuek.app in Safari 2. Tap the Share button (square with an up arrow) 3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen" 4. Tap "Add", and the JotBantuek icon appears on your home screen Tip: after installing, open the app online at least once so it caches your journal for offline use. One thing to know about syncing: if the same entry is edited on two devices, the latest save wins and the older version is replaced. To avoid losing changes, try to finish editing an entry on one device before opening it on another.

JotBantuek (จดบันทึก) is Thai for "note it down." จด (jot) means to note or record, and บันทึก (bantuek) means to write down or keep a record so the name literally means "to jot things down," which is exactly what the app is for.
